“This picture of Saturn’s moon Hyperion, made up of a combination of images taken with infrared, green and ultraviolet spectral filters, was obtained during Cassini’s flyby in September 2005.”
See http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2010/04/19/science/042010-cassini_6.html for other awesome photos taken by Cassini, the orbiter studying Saturn and its moons, which was launched in October of 1997 and reached Saturn in 2004.
Photo You Must See: Vertical Volkswagens at Germany’s Autostadt
Volkswagen Golfs are stacked in one of the massive glass silos at Autostadt, the theme park adjacent to Volkswagen’s main plant in Wolfsburg, Germany.
My first picture after my unintended laziness (i suppose that’s rather redundant) and lack of pictures for around a month…. oops.
so i haven’t uploaded (or taken) a picture in a few days, oops… here’s yesterday’s picture of my roommate’s shoes and today’s picture of part of the message he left me on our door.
I realized that I hadn’t taken a picture today at about 15 till midnight, so I went on an expedition around mellbs to look for something to photograph and found Joe’s door and the water faucet. I kinda like the idea behind the faucet, but I need to spend more time working with the exposure to get it just right. Still, it’s a start.
As for Joe’s door, I think the LARPers did more permanent damage than we first realized…
